  • MGC Founder: Tatyana

Tatyana's interest in gardening grew from her children's pure awe at everything going on at the allotment. Having been working in early years for a number of years, she was keen to expand Shannon's adult growing workshops to a younger demographic and quickly got to work to bring the idea to life.

  • MGC Founder: Shannon

Better known as @diaryofaladygardener, Shannon found her love for gardening when she was given an allotment for Christmas somewhat out of the blue. Four years on, she's quit her job to fulfil her flowery dreams, running a farm and inspiring the next generation of gardeners to get growing.

I usually work 5 days a week so don't get to spend as much time as I'd like to with my little girl. Taking a Thursday off to bring her to your sessions has been so amazing for giving us that quality time together to be in nature. We make the most of being at Arlington and go for walks and picnics after, something we probably wouldn't have done otherwise! We don't have a 'garden' at home, so it has been so lovely to have such a peaceful and beautiful outside space to take her to and watch her learn about growing plants, fruits and veggies. It has shown me that I can make use of the space we do have at home to continue to grow what we can too. My little girl absolutely loves the freedom that comes with being in your garden - watering everything she sets her eyes on (including the floor!) and getting her hands dirty in the soil. We absolutely love coming to your sessions and I can't wait to bring our newest addition along to future sessions once they are born!
